I've seen The Pixies and The Pumpkins twice.

One time they didn't say anything and just played through a set out of what felt like obligation.

The other time they were both in great spirits bantering with the crowd throughout.

Don't put the most overrated band of alternative rock side by side with our beloved Wrigley Willy, for fuck's sake.

Wait a sec, what tours are we talking about?

SP has some great albums actually, wouldn't call them overrated!

It’s really funny that there’s more talk and excitement about weezer and the pixies on here than SP.

Funny thing is, Billy brings it upon himself.

WPC didn’t cause whatever mental illness it is that makes people like Weezer and post reform Pixies.

Weezer is very hit or miss. If Rivers is in a mood he won’t say a single word to the crowd.

But even if they are good these days, the set list is more often all singles. They are totally in rockstar dad mode when touring. Play a show that pleases the majority and pay that mortgage.

I've seen Weezer a lot. Back in 96-2002 (original lineup and the initial reunion album/tours) they were tons of fun. Still fighting to be a big band and enjoying their comeback. After that it got so slick and lifeless that I didn't enjoy it even if they were rocking.

I'm gonna personally see to it that every single one of you who mentions Weezer from henceforth is banned

For a board about Smashing Pumpkins, Corgan is uploading fried gold to his insta every fcuking day. And are we discussing it here?

No... because we're all blocked except Corrgan's Buff*, who's too LAZY to post screens and videos from his account.

This is why we're a Nickelback messageboard now. Accept it.

*Or Forgotten Child. Whatever.
