After all these years, I still wonder how CatDog went to the bathroom...
Was it like a "Human Centipede" thing, or did they just not go...? |

One fine day with a woof and a purr
A baby was born and it caused a little stir No blue buzzard, no three-eyed frog Just a feline canine little CatDog. CatDog, CatDog, alone in the world is a little CatDog! Out on the road or back in town All kinda critters putting CatDog down Gotta rise above it gotta try to get along Gotta walk together gotta sing this song. CatDog, CatDog, alone in the world is a little CatDog! CatDog (CatDog) CatDog (CatDog) Alone in the world is a little CatDog! |

this show sucked so bad and it shared the lineup with Rocket Power which just made matters worse

catdog, angry beavers etc. is exactly when kids shows started to go downhill badly with all that sensory overload and meaningless iterations of the same old themes
spongebob is much better but i guess i like it for different reasons than most people |

i wouldn't consider ren & stimpy unusually fast or bright or hard to follow, which is what i meant by sensory overload. you know, digital effect porn. that show was just unusually violent, not to mention subtle and original

My gf and I watched a handful of Angry Beavers episodes like a year or so ago. It was cute and nostalgic, but overall not as great as my childhood memories had me believe.

we watched an episode of "my brother and me" the other day. it wasn't funny, but i was so jealous of alfie and deedee's room as a kid. it's pretty cool

i remember watching that show. there were only like ten episodes but they played it for at least five years.
and invader zim was pretty awesome. disturbing/not really a kid's show, though |

that ep where zim harvested organs was one of the weirdest things i've ever seen on television and honestly i kind of like that
but who green lit that shit for kids? it should have been on adult swim |

many people (kids) seem to like spongebob because it's cute and quirky and colourful and the voices are funny. i like it because the dialogue is often smarter than it appears on the surface and the plots are usually quite creative and charming

Yeah I like it for the same reasons
there's an episode that makes fun of texas that's pretty good, especially since Junior Brown gets a guest musician credit (he's a local slide guitar hero) i also like the one about spongebob and patrick stealing the balloon on free balloon day and there was one with them in detention that had me laughing hysterically with my nephew which is especially fun since all the "grow'd ups" are too good for silly cartoons |

We had to turn it off about 5 minutes in for the same reason, not wanting to destroy the good memories. I never watched CatDog I don't believe. |
