Lightbulb Some hot new Rock in '08

Hey have you guys heard of band called The Black Summer Crush?? They remind me the Beatles with more of an edgy 70’s feel, kinda like Jimi Hendrix and The Who. I wanna know more info on shows and cds!! Any Pumpkin lovers also BSC fans out there??

yeah, really like the new devotchka. the new breeders and beach house albums are good too.

the new clinic and atlas sound albums feel very underwhelming after a listen, maybe they'll grow on me. i think clinic's best days are just too far behind them.

first track is a 40 minute drone fest so i doubt you'd like it. its very ambient lots of indistinguishable instruments that gradually bubble to the forefront coalescing into noise toward the end. otherh two tracks i admit aven't listened to in their entirety but more of the same, a bit more noisy.

i like the following (in varying degrees) enough to not delete:
Autechre- Quaristice
Balmorhea- River Arms
Beach House - Devotion
Blood On the Wall - Liferz
Cadence Weapon - Afterparty Babies
Clinic - Do It!
Earth- The Bees Made Honey In the Lions Skull
Flogging Molly - Float
Hello, Blue Roses- The Portrait Is Finished, and I Have Failed To Capture Your Beauty
Hinterland - Pan Pan Medico
Kill Hannah - Hope For the Hopeless
Magnetic Fields - Distortion
Malcolm Middleton - Sleight of Heart
Mars Volta - Bedlam In Goliath
Sleep Station - The Pride of Chester James
Taken By Cars - Endings of a New Kind
Unisex- Stratosfear
