pathetic ass finals

full thumbs down :/

warriors are such an antagonism inducing team. not only do they have 4 tier-1 all stars on their roster, but they still need to do shit like try to turn every common foul into a shooting foul, often from half court or even further back.

so little class. fuck this team, seriously. gross

lol. get over it, or get used to it....and everybody is doing that shooting foul trick now.

btw...Plenty of teams passed on Curry and Thompson. Every team passed over on Draymond. None of them were blue chip prospects out of high school and the W's did what every team tries to do in the offseason -- add talent.

So Durant sees an organization that runs like a machine from top to bottom and they roll out the red carpet for him, LIKE EVERY OTHER TEAM DID!

What's he supposed to do? Bang his head against the wall and stick it out in OKC playing that crap, out of date, isolation offense? He went to a system that understands offensive team basketball and the heart to commit to hustle defense. All the things OKC wasn't.

it's called being a sport

joining your rival because they're hard to beat is the polar opposite of that

these days the headlines are starting to go "CAN DURANT SILENCE HIS CRITICS BY GOING ALL THE WAY THIS YEAR?"

but they are missing the point so miserably it's not even funny.
OF COURSE he's gonna win a championship. he's a top shelf all-nba first team starter, who joined the best team in the league. it'll be shameful if HE STILL CAN'T GET IT.

he'll hardly silence any criticism because the criticism is, he was cowardly and meek and the polar opposite of what being a great competitor is all about

lol. I gotta ask, did you play sports at all and what level was it at?

They weren't rivals though and besides, free agency and salary cap is part of the sport. Dubs own that now too.

it is literally completely irrelevant whether i played sports or not, and even more so 'at what level'.

i do play basketball tho

and i still think Duran't a fucking weak ass loser for teaming up with what even without him was the strongest team in the league (although he's a damn fine player and one of the best offensive talents alive, if not the single best one)

It's relevant when you start claiming to know what it is to be a sport.

Kyrie was incredible

Lebron did some excellent playmaking but absolutely failed to deliver when it counted. he looks exhausted. even an anomaly like him runs out of steam eventually.

The Warriors adopted the old school Celtics philosophy when Lacob (former Boston exec) took over ownership: Play fast (emphasis on ball movement) to force the other team to react to you and eventually wear down. The relentless foot speed of the W's always has teams on their heels. On that late 3 Durant drained, Lebron let up a bit because Durant was driving the bucket all quarter, so he had him backing up and took the open three.

Don't fuck this up tonight boys...just gt r done.

A couple of courtside seats went for $133,000 tonight (largest ever for the NBA, Bleacher Report). I don't know who it is, but they're just showing off.

it's honestly beyond me how anyone can really root for the warriors this year

yay for you guys, you added the best player in the league to the best team in the league and almost sweeped through the entire playoffs. awesome work, I LUV THIS GAME.

this has without a doubt been the worst playoff in the past 30 years at the very least

If you like basketball, its easy to root for the Warriors. They play an unselfish team game that every single coach from grade school to college stress how to play. The way they play excels their talent level and always has. It's why Draymond Green is viewed as a top 15 player, on any other team he'd be just another guy stat wise.

Durant's no dummy, there was no point for him to be stuck in an unimaginative offense anymore. OKC had this guy with Westbrook and Harden and their ego's got in the way and that's that and that speaks to an organizational structure that's not at the W's level.

they have eliminated and will continue to eliminate any streak of competition in the league for as long as this team continues to exist
