the alt-right thing is such a monoculture of white conservatives with a very vague and selective interpretation of the Bible as some of its doctrine that they're promoting the shit out of every time an actual scientist or non-white person backs them up. they're so happy that once in every while their backwards ideas are shared by someone who appears to have had an education.

the percentage of scientists that agree for instance that global warming is caused by humanity is such an overwhelming number that every scientist who's not so sure about that is a remarkable anomaly, deemed to be milked for all the wrong purposes.

Gariépy hosts the YouTube channel The Public Space where he calls for the creation of a white ethnostate in the US and Canada. The Anti-Defamation League lists The Public Space among "White Supremacist Channels".[1]. Gariépy has been described as a "white nationalist"[2] and as a "standard bearer of the alt-right"[3]

Jean-François Gariépy grew up in Saint-Sophie, Québec and has been married three times. Gariépy and his third wife separated in July 2015. In December 2015, his wife gave birth to his first son. In the ensuing custody case, his wife accused Gariépy of "emotional abuse" and of "threatening to abduct their child to his native Canada.

During the custody case, Gariépy started a relationship with a 19-year old Hispanic autistic woman from Texas, and eventually convinced her to drive to North Carolina to be with him and attempted to get her pregnant. As the parents objected to her daughter's relationship with Gariépy, a case was filed in which the woman was revealed to have "the social and mental maturity of a 10- or 11-year-old child”, according to a psychologist.

In 2014, Gariépy received $25,000 from the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to start the nonprofit organization NEURO.tv which was dedicated to education on science and philosophy via YouTube

Those are all baseless smears or things taken grossly out of context. For example, he does a show every day and has on guests 5 days a week and David Duke appeared on the show ONE time. Gariepy is known for talking to a wide array of people from across all spectrums.

He's addressed a lot of these allegations. It's common that a lot of nasty allegations can arise whenever there's custody and marital disputes. I don't put too much stock in it and really, his romantic life is none of my business.

As far as the Epstein thing goes, A lot of these billionaires hand out money in donations.

The smear tactics about this guy are just bonkers.

He's essentially just a scientist who philosophizes about existential things and the universe and stuff. Really thought provoking stuff.
