Thanks poots. I did shop around though, several years ago the policy was $560 but it kept raising for no reason, but my insurance agent couldn't find a better deal, and I couldn't find a better deal on my own either.

Isn't it variable based on the minimum requirements per state and whether it's a no fault state or not?

If anyone remembers/cares/is wondering, my dog has hid eyelid surgery Monday. Had a rough go coming down from anesthesia Monday night into Tuesday morning but seems to be doing pretty fair today. Aside from bumping into shit with his cone and currently having what looks like a permanently furrowed brow due to the swelling, I think he's gonna pull through OK. Not bad for an old guy.

Also, it was a lot cheaper than originally quoted. So, there's that.

Yeah. One of them was "moving" and leaving an open, unhealing wound in its wake. His eye was getting extra goopy as a result. Since I was already paying to have him put under, the doc took care of the other lump while we were at it.

He will definitely need a lot less of me fussing over his eyes/eye snot going forward, so that's deffo a plus.
