Default I saw Iha

I saw James tonight on the street on 2nd ave around 11th street. I've seen him before in that area, but years ago. tonight i didn't realize it was him until i was right there passing him. he had just looked up as i walked by because he was petting his small dog (not bug, i guess he died) ...... I've never said anything, respect his privacy and all. though this time is the first time i wish i woulda said something. but i just wasn't sure it was him til the last second.

most informative thing i can share is that he's just got a very normal guy, unremarkable presence. has the vibe of just a peaceful regular dude. it's a good bet his thoughts and concerns are a million miles removed from billy, the pumpkins and all that. i bet he could give a fuck.

so that's it. that's my story.

if i see him again i should say--- what? something like, James. Thanks for making that music back in the day. i respect how you've taken the high road since the breakup. all the best. take care.

If I ever saw a celebrity I admired (there are about two of them) I don't think I'd say anything because what could you possibly say that hasn't been said a thousand times before?

I'd just stare. And maybe drool a bit. And wet my pants.

Anyway, puddles of urine aside, I'm dead jealous!

Posting information about where he seems to live is really respecting his privacy.

if it was me i would have kidnapped his dog. I guarantee that hasnt happened to him before. that would definitely make an impression on him. After that id find him and tell him about how it was all a joke and me and him would hang out. then start a band called the exploding pumpkins cuz thats just a better name.

average quality typical underground beat, absolutely terrible mc that obviously has listened to entirely too much aesop rock and del tha funky homosapien without picking up even a fraction of their ability. course he could be an atmosphere clone, i dunno i never actually gave atmosphere a chance because everyone i knew who liked him never listened to hip hop in their lives. In fact, the only times I ever heard of him was in the sentance "I don't like hip hop at all except for atmosphere," and I'm like "Well in that case he/they/it probably sucks."

The only way this could be more lame is if it was on Craigslist New York's "Missed Connections" page.
