I don't get the I'm Ready hate. PPS is pretty bad, but I'm Ready sounds like a pretty honest, vulnerable song. I don't know what he was ready for, but it sounds like he meant it. I like how I can recall more of these songs w/o listening than Oceania songs, weird. I don't think I listened to it more.

It would be cool if BC uploaded a higher res video of this and WS for the 15 year anniversary. But that's never gonna happen.

i love this album. it feels like a continuation of the Pumpkins work (Adore/Machina) but covers new ground. Billy's songwriting was on point.

Album’s in the car, now

Really reeeeeeeaaalllly rediscovering the ‘gaze depths/ambiguous moods and colors of All things change: holy god it’s so weird; theres no song in the history of recorded music (to which i’ve listened) to which i would say it’s related (within the 3rd degree sanguinity) so it’s unsettling af and actually kinda abhoorent but holy F do those ‘gaze depths tempt me and the melody’s got a worm or 2 to it

Only thing is that lugubrious drum part just doesn’t seem to match the thing....would kill for a live drummer doing a lockstep thing to it, just needs to breathe juuuuuust a bit to really lift off beyond a morbid curiosity of a brilliant, singular vision

I remember watching "Much More Music" (the mature version of Much Music) and Walking Shade came on and I was like "WTF Billy Corgan has solo shit now?" (cause I never followed him online at the time) and I couldn't believe how much it sucked.

Corgan must already have known that people would think his first solo album SUCKS to announce with its release a proclamation to have the intention to "reunite" the more Smashing Pumpkins.

"Mina Loy" and "Camera Eye" are worth listening.

Nevertherless, I'm patiently waiting for "The Future Enhanced".

With the acoustics demos on guitar and harp...

Now and Then is a fantastic song. The acoustic version from that radio interview he did.... with the Sex Pistols guy was great.

Billy was banging her during that tour right? I never took place in the online lore at the time so I missed all the good chatter during that era.

I dunno, just envious I guess. I think Linda's super sexy. I always find it hard to believe when Billy nails all these beautiful women.
