So it's safe to assume we will not see either of these two albums in 2015 and almost definitely will ultimately only get one of the two albums in 2016 or 2017.

I will readily consume any new material that Billco produces. However I'm just not that excited anymore. I really want something that moves me like days of old. I doubt these new works will fulfill that need. I don't want it to sound like something I used to like, I want it to be new, innovative, and full of heart.
