It could also be a storage shelf, but it has a button on it, so it's probably not that. It could also be an empty rack space cover, but there's a button on it, and also it's the only thing in that rack, and it doesn't have ventilation, so it's probably not that.
also curious about what the yellow cable is plugged into at the top of the lower rack. it appears to be a fan/vent cover (a la this) -- but if that's the case, why would there be an input?

It looks like a rack drawer with a switch on it. This is doing my head in now too. I must know.

Can someone go to Zuzus and ask Boz himself?

it looks to be 6U

There's lots of computer companies that make them - they're found in server racks.
it’s a Juice Goose Model 12 voltage regulator

http://www.rockstarsguitars.com/wp-c...012/01/229.jpg

They provided AC line isolation against surges and high frequency interference as well as voltage regulation to 120 VAC output.

Custom Talman they made for him, with those fretboard-stars and a different body/neck. I think it's a short-scale, he used it on 1979 during the MCIS tour.

You know gear Billy really needs? A metronome and a tape recorder to check his time feel against. Bald idiot.
