Just watched Spun for the first time. Wow Djali Zwan was excellent. Billy really fucked all that up. What a waste.

Fits the bill and provides a neat call-back to our thing about non-linear narrative structure.

Neither of these movies are on Canadian Netflix, unfortunately. Nor are a long list of other crime movies I searched up.

Thanks for the recs, though. I think I'll torrent them. I hate watching films on my laptop, but sometimes casting them to my Xbox actually works.

HDMI cable, you say? I just got through with figuring out how to hook up RCA inputs to those modern TVs. This is where I'm at, technology-wise.

I had to watch Jurassic World over again because Fallen Kingdom wasn't making any sense to me. I barely remembered anything from the previous movie.

I feel like Fallen Kingdom is so light on characters and concepts that it doesn't even matter.

Justice League - B
OMG Comic book nerds calm the fuck down, Justice League is absolutely fine. Get over it.

Atomic Blonde - C-
You'd think that Charlize Theron running around, kicking ass and then laying in a bathtub of ice water would make a good movie? It turns out, no, you actually need more than that. Much more.

I've never seen a Jurassic movie, but I'm kinda curious as to how many movies can possibly be squeezed out of the premise that "reanimating dinosaurs was actually a bad idea."

Like, do the characters just keep on going, "maybe a dinosaur island won't go badly and require Jeff Goldblum to rescue us this time" or something?

I only remember the part where Newman pretends to Skype using QuickTime.

the second one is they abandoned the island and some other group wanted to bring them to the mainland and the original group tries to stop them or something like that

This could be applied to both The Lost World and Fallen Kingdom. It's incredible how creatively bankrupt this series is at this point. I mean, how do you fuck up Dinosaurs Terrorize Humans?

The second season of Norsemen is now available in English on Netflix.

It's kind of like the Scandinavian answer to Blackadder, if I had to describe it.
