Could never get into AnCo. To me it just all sounded like Smiley Smile, Wild Honey and Friends all playing at the same time.

I've only heard Centipede Hz and Merriweather Post Pavilion. I could give Sung Tongs a chance and let you know.

I'm like 2/3rds through Sung Tongs.

It's not as unbearably disorganized and sonically vomitous as the other two I've heard, I can at least understand what they are trying to accomplish.

But it still remains, at it's core, cold and off-putting for some reason. Sorry.

Still love them, but I don't think they're going to make good music anymore. my love for them started with Sung Tongs. I had a solo song that was more or less based on the third song from that album - https://plasticsurgeryicon.bandcamp....th-you-alive-2

Jesse Miller, give that third song from Sung Tongs another try, it's lovely!

You could also try Feels, a mostly very droney and slow album, but still 'songs'.
