I'm just honest with my opinions. It might not be en vogue to be that way, but there's no use in being a sheep. That's one of the main problems we have going on with our culture and society right now, and the powers that be take full advantage of that.

Well, yes. But, the league is stuck here too and the legislation is leading to some curious results in the rules of engagement for hitting. It's the concussion issue and it's leveling off youth football at rates the league must take notice to.

How bout those comments from the Players Rep leader doubling down on some serious rhetoric talking about not being an NFL in twenty years? That's some ballsy negotiating but also reveals what the buzz is about the future of the game even among the players.

As my mentor taught me, don't get too high and excited when you win and don't get bummed out and down when you lose. It's a marathon, and the only objective is to be making a steady stream of income. Individual days and even weeks are irrelevant if the overall profits are there.

I'll tell you guys one thing I was taught, these Thursday and Monday night games are the most rigged of them all. They're the games that get the most singular action from gamblers, so if it ever appears that it's an easy play for one side and you see numbers that show gamblers lining up to throw down money on the clearly better team, bet the lousy team.

And of course the game ends up as it usually does. The better team won in a thrilling way, so the fans are satisfied, and the shit team "miraculously" squeezes by with a cover and Vegas cashes in in a massive way.

Remember this guys, Vegas doesn't give out free money. Don't analyze games by who the better team is, analyze the games on trying to be on the side of Vegas. That's the gamblers secret that most sports bettors sometimes never discover in their life. And they live a journey of heartache because of it.

It's human nature to wanna spread the word and help out the fellow gamblers, but once all the squares get informed I worry that this thing will fall in on itself and we won't be able to take advantage of our inside knowledge anymore.

I see on one book that the line has already dropped down to -7. That for me is telling and the good news. There's a HUGE difference between a line being set at 7 and 7.5. Cause when a lines set at 7.5 it for all intents and purposes may as well be set at 9.5.

Basically, I'm betting that the lines gonna drop, and that extra half point is really important to me so I'm getting it in now. But if the line keeps growing in Pittsburghs favor I won't feel as confident that there's something funny going on.

It's the chance you take. If you can't go into this profession and accept that there's a chance you're gonna lose here and there then you shouldn't be in it.
