Default Metallica and Megadeth reccomendations

Both these bands have really really grown on me. Just give some albums to look into and generally what makes them all differ. And don't say anything post Black Album.

Even though I stopped listening to Metallica, I have VERY found memories of Master of Puppets. It is an excellent record.

metallica:

"kill 'em all" - extremely raw and fast
"ride the lightning" - more mature lyrics/music
"master of puppets" - probably metallica's peak
"...and justice for all" - my personal favorite. easily the most musically complex album they ever released.

megadeth:

"countdown to extinction" - i used to listen to a lot of these guys, and this is the only album that really stayed with me. it pretty much rokks.

Master of Puppets was my all time fav. It has great tracks, Master of Puppets, Orion, Damage Inc...all great songs. And Justice for All was the first Metallica I ever heard, there are some great tracks on there as well.

The S&M stuff is really good too.

I never got really into either, I can't stand Dave Mustaine's voice. I do, however, own and enjoy Metallica's Master of Puppets. I've heard their earlier stuff and their later (for the love of God, don't even glance at Load or Reload) but Master of Puppets would be their overall best.

Thumbs up

Megadeth has 4 good/great albums:
Peace Sells But Who's Buying?
Rust in Peace
Countdown to Extinction
Youthanasia

I'd go with Rust in Peace or Countdown to Extinction first.
