Deftones are definitely the better band. I never got bored with them.

With System of a Down it's just like, no, thanks. I have Mr. Bungle. But you keep doing you.

I would rather group them with ATDI & Refused

honestly now i'm considering that SoaD is actually watered down post-hardcore like ATDI, Refused & Deftones and nu metal is actually the babyman cryhard stuff like Staind

Nu-metal to me is fully embodied in Coal Chamber. They were the poster boys of nu-metal.

How appropriate now that the singer for Staind is a neocon dick with a Don't Tread on Me neck tat.

Man I got metallica-neck so hard after seeing syndrome of a down play ozzfest in the mud and the rain circa 2000 or so ... that chop suey riff is so knumbskull, so gonzo, gimme that joyous limp-limbed, dizzy-making spirit like from the best of qotsa

I never know the names of chinese dishes anymore. The only chinese places I go are all buffets, so I just get like a hodge podge of my favorites.

System of a Down was alright when I was in high school.

i only have that problem with pizza, though. otherwise i know exactly what sauce i need. i would never use valentina on eggs or potatoes. tabasco doesn't belong on my elote or tortillas. and nothing but d'elidas on my arroz con pollo.

woo, boy. can't make food hot enough for me.
