Just curious as to what parts of it you think are 'horrible'?

Yeah he is wrong. Hexagram and Good Morning Beautiful are two of the best songs on the album.

There's an ugliness and harshness to Self Titled that wasn't as present on White Pony. It seems like they kind of regressed.

well sure it's not as good as white pony but it has some great moments.

not sure how you can be a deftones fan and not like hexagram.

Adrenaline is a nice debut but it's my least favorite, even behind self-titled.

and it's not as sustained in Hexagram, but that one scream in Tempest is maybe my favorite of all time. actually the one in Leathers too. oof.

I like it a tad more than White Pony. Both are unmatched in my opinion.

The chorus to Gauze is just astounding and amazing. Never thought they could do something so good. The more I listen to this the more I think it's as good as or maybe even better than White Pony.

Just heard Tempest on the radio the other day, really liked it. I used to be really into the Deftones and saw them live a handful of times but sort of lost track of them after their s/t.
