That's not true.

He's a career .300 hitter that nets you around 200+ hits, 100 runs, and 45+ sb's a season when he plays everyday.

He's a 3 stat monster, and a 4 stat monster if your league does triples.

If you're talking categories, it's rotisserie. Rotisserie can be head to head or season long. So can fantasy. Fantasy would be points based, not category dependent.

I thought that there were only two kinds of leagues, roto (being all of your players stats are added up and whoever has the most of a certain stat at the end of the year gets the higher amount of points) and head2head (being you play 1 team in your league for a week and whoever has the highest amount of stats in certain categorie for that week gets a win in that category).

I play in a head2head league based on 7 offensive categories and 7 pitching categories.
Pierre is a great contributor in 5 of those 7 categories (and he went 2-4 today with a SB).

I usually try to stack my fantasy teams with speed guys like Ichiro, Pierre, and Crawford because they kill in hits, runs, sb's, and avg. and that's an automatic win in 4 of the 7 offensive categories.

I also like speed guys because they usually don't get into the prolonged slumps that power hitters go into.

Fantasy rules use points.

Either of those types could be head to head (weekly) or season-long.

You play in a Rotisserie H2H league.

Pierre is good in rotisserie because of steals and BA, but he hurts in walks, power, etc. However he can be useful is you need BA or steals.

In a fantasy format, he's nearly worthless as it's more based on cumulative overall production than niche categories, which is why I prefer fantasy scoring.

i mean i still haven't yet had any kind of rebuttal against statistical proof that the run differential between the AL and NL is not big enough to make a drastic impact on someone's individual performance. All I got was "lol 1998" because i made a typo.
