Original or 64? The 64's battle courses were so damned big you pretty much needed four players to have a good time, but the original's courses were fantastic. If I had any SNES controllers that worked, I'd still be playing that with my friends.

It's true, it's true.

My most memorable gaming moment(s) would have to be when I first rented the original Grand Theft Auto. When I hopped into that blue car (the one that's parked next to you when you first start the game) and the soundtrack went "WOOOO!" and I realized you could just run people over and shoot them and blow shit up and not actually have to DO anything in the game if you didn't want to, I thought "Holy shit, this is the greatest game ever". Now, of course, I am addicted to GTA3.

Memorable in terms of nsotalgia would be playing Wing commander. The Quests also. Ultima 7. If i think about the summer i played U7 too much i start having teary eyes. Fo' real. Oh and wing commander Privateer. Rise of the dragon. man...god...such awesome memories.

I don't have as good memories of console games. But there's always the early nes days. From 87 to 90. Awesome memories of that period as far as games goes. Also the first time i played Snes.

As for most memorable achievement. Finishing the secret operations in Wing commander surely winz. It is incredibly hard. I still can't believe i did it. I had them for two years if not more alreayd when i did it. I deemed them ridiculous for being so goddam unbeatable. And someday i decided i'd do it. I'd take a whole year if i neede to but i'd do it. I did. It' sad barely anyone ever tried them and it hence makes my achievement not seem very important.

I don't know about mine ,I have too many ,but I thought I'd throw this website out here. It has a bunch of panty waste stories about bad experiences with video games ;they are so hilariously pathetic that my friend made an entire 'zine out of the best ones.

(this has been my favorite story about video games. I almost shat myself laughing when I read it)

"When the Super NES was new I was playing Secret of Mana. Then my cat
came into the room he went by the Nintendo and took a dump all over
it. Of course he had diarrhea and of course after you poop you have to
podie and so he ruined my Nintendo because the poop went through the
game slot and the podie made a stain the worst part was that I
was about to kill the Mana Beast."

Talking

*Aeris....nooooo!!!!

*Thinking Resident Evil is a bit of a stupid dull game idea...until the dogs jump through the windows and suddenly Survival Horror was a serious issue and my undergarments were soiled.

*Beating the first enemy to death with the pipe in the Silent Hill demo.

*Playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Christmas Day.

*Being amazed at the graphics and the "little film bits" (later we'd call these cut scenes http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/tongue.gif) between the stages of Another World and Flashback on the Sega MegaDrive (Genesis?).

When I discovered how to get the Nightmare Key in the second dungeon of "Link's Awakening". I had been stuck there for the longest time, for some reason I just couldn't figure out what to do there. After a while I just abandoned it completely. A year or so later, I saw a friend of mine play it on his Gameboy, and asked him where he was. He told me he was on the way to the third dungeon. I was stunned. After he told me I simply have to kill the enemies in that one room in a specific order, I went back, did it, and voila, the chest appeared and I got the Nightmare Key. It was so pathetically easy. But it opened up the entire game for me.

when Mortal Kombat 1 was first released on SNES. my friend and I hired a copy and sat down and played it for 17 hours straight, only stopping to eat a little and go to the toilet. we were in awe and I never got sick of it after 17 hrs. I doubt I'll ever have that feeling again

when i used to play Delta Force online. that game ruled. if you know anything about large scale multiplayer games like that, you know they can get laggy... so kills are hard to get sometime in that game. one nite i was in a deathmatch game and i was dropping mo-fos left and right. the lag was hardly there--a beautiful game.... so i'm running up this hill thing and in front of me 10 steps i see a sniper lying prone. i got my knife out and got him. i turned around and one poor soul was crawling over the hill opposite my direction. he got knifed as well. then another guy runs straight at me up the hill. fortunately, he had the .50 cal sniper rifle, so he couldn't shoot like an auto. i easily "dodged" his fire, and proceeded to knife him down too. my most memorable gaming moment consisted of getting 3 knife kills in under 30 seconds. the people in the game were like "holy shit!" i was on top of the world. and on top of the score board. ah, ...the gaming memories. but that was me back in the day when i played games. now i just play girls. i'm all growed up.

...that was kinda lame. i'm sorry if you read that.

Finishing Diablo 2 on Nightmare mode with the Barbarian.

I'm going to attempt Hell mode next.
Damn, this game is far too addictive.

'89ish. Agreeing to rule the world with the end boss in Dragon Warrior 3 or 4. I really can't remember which. I think that it was 3.

Does anyone know the evil dudes name?
