Default Teargarden delayed

According to Pitchforks upcoming spring schedule it won't be released until 05-25.

I'm almost certain this is not a joke. I called my local record store two days ago and they said that it was in fact delayed.

From what I understand, he was releasing songs one at a time but was also going to release them as EPs with four or five songs on each. Then maybe an album of them all together when it is all done (assuming it is actually ever completed). I could be wrong though.

Wait, you mean to tell me that the date you posted, that has been known for quite some time, is the actual date Teargarden comes out? Consider me baffled.

Thank you, that's what I meant when I said "cool". We've known about this for weeks now. It was that stupid rock that messed up the date.

Yeah it got delayed, I thought people knew.

I got an e-mail from someone telling me this a few weeks back from the place I pre-ordered from. They said they wern't given a reason for the delay (could be because of the giant obelisk)

I think the giant obelisk thing when put through the bull shit detector means that something else has fucked up along the line.

This is the first physical SP release that I have never wanted to own. Tragic.

The radio has said more than once that the album was coming out "in a few weeks", so I don't think most people know what the fuck he's doing.

well I re-read the press release for Songs For a Sailor and it was worded in such a way that if you casually read it would seem like April 17th was the release date. Again an announcement for an announcement. I apologize in advance netphoria. "April 17, will have an opportunity to preorder the new, limited edition EP" Seriously PREORDER?! Wow what an opportunity!

I also have an opportunity to put the 30 dollars in the bank and let it grow interest. With the money it grows I can buy each an every release as they come out and retire as a millionaire.

Question is: Will I retire before Teargarden is complete?

Teargarden is actually Billy re-recording and re-releasing every song from Zeitgeist with Bob Geldof on lead vocals as a soundtrack to the upcoming motion picture "The Smashing Pumpkins' Zeitgeist".

It's quite funny how the fever pitch clamouring and date working out for when the next song will be released has virtually ground to a halt now
