It's kind of weird seeing all the oboard kids get emotional over this. To my sixteen year old self, the original break-up was cathartic in an "as all things must surely have to end" way. But this is just a sad reunion that never really took off.

it's funny some of these comments, if you like listening to the music of the mighty SP why would you not continue to support and be a fan just because jimmy left, he has never had a hand in writing the music...while i agree it sucks to see him leave and i hope he returns just as i wish the others would have, it makes no bearing on what we will hear sonically. am i the only fan of adore...get over it, he's gone, now let's get on with the next phase. Billy's narcissism has tarnished the band. I think there was a time before Machina when he could keep it in check and not let it affect his work / professional life. But ever since around 2000 it seems as if he's just been burning one bridge after another.

I'm guessing we won't get any kind of solid explanation from Billy. And then in a month Jimmy will casually mention what happened in some random interview, assuming it had already been revealed.
