John Lennon is the "cool" pick but happily I have found at a certain age you just realize Paul is better at everything and was a more decent person for most of his life despite being a slytherin

George is the most underrated and had the best post-Beatles career

George is the hipster pick. John seems to be the obvious pick but if you look at the volume/quantity then Paul has to win. John has some of the very best they ever did though. George didn't really write anything worth a shit until Abbey Road but his were the best on that album.

And, it has already been said, but Paul's basslines are GOAT. He was also the best instrumentalist in the band, playing guitar, bass, piano, and even drums better than any of the rest of them. Best guitar solos ----> PAUL. Seeing him live a few years ago was the best show I've ever seen, bar none. Paul for the win. Also he didn't die yet.

I could say that Paul is objectively the best melody weaver in the group and Harrison is the best guitar player

But Lennon is more the X Factor in the group that makes things exceptional and probably the reason something like Tomorrow Never Knows exists

and the only one to make a solo album I'm all about

edit: more confrontational than I intended

No I think Dr. Robert is a John song, he's singing it.

For No One is the best song on Revolver, and it's Paul. It was also John's favorite Beatle song, so that's pretty high praise from a guy that didn't really get along with Paul after the break up.

The bigger point that no one can really make and objective argument that George was the best Beatle. It's just ironic hipster bullshit.

You could be right but usually the one who sang it, especially in the mid to late years, was the one who wrote it, and Dr. Robert is John singing.

Paul is easily the best guitarist from a technical standpoint. The band's music doesn't even come close to showing off what he is capable of. He's a world-class musician

Yeah absolutely but technicality is not the reason people will rate Harrison's playing as exceptional you know what I mean

John claims he wrote it, with help from Paul in the middle eight.

Tomorrow Never Knows is the best song on Revolver.

I can never decide which is better Revolver or St. Peppers.

A they often did, with one writing the middle eight of the other's song. But John was probably the originator. It sounds like a John song.

Hell yeah. So is Imagine. Those are the only post beatles albums I have listened to and they both slay.

Lennon is not a good person persona in his music but he has good causes i enjoy that about his work and he has lyrics where he tells the listener not to be like him he's aware

Lol I miss the "hate you so much" messages from that old grizzly bear. I don't think I've encountered a person so miserable with so much hate in his heart as t-lish.
