wondering the total value of my smashing pumpkins vinyl collection.

here's a list of what i've got.

Siamese Singles (all black vinyl)
Tristessa 7" (pink)
Gish (modern print)
Siamese Dream (modern print)
pisces iscariot (lp only, no 7")
mellon collie (official numbered pressing from virgin, some spine wear)
adore (original, bought the week it came out, ring wear, pretty bad shape, but vinyl plays great)
Machina (played many times, but kept in pristine condition)

i'm assuming this collection is valued somewhere around $600.

maybe more if sold in bulk?

i have no intentions of getting rid of it yet, but times are getting hard and i might have to, thought you guys would know what i would get for it.

any ideas?

Collections are always valued less when sold in a lot.

i don't think so. $400 maybe, if you get lucky on ebay.

There's a mom and pop shop down the street that has TAFH (not-sealed) that dude will sell to me for $15. Should I buy it and flip it? What sort of profit can I expect?

you will definitely make a profit, but i'm not sure if it will be worth the effort.

You could probably sell it for $30, but there are newish seller fees ebay has instilled that may make it not worth your trouble.

Also, make sure the discs in the box are the actual TAFH discs and not the standalone singles - I bought a box and had that happen to me.

They may also be in bad condition if it is that cheap.

I checked it, and it's legit. Guy just said it was collecting dust and he likes me so he said I could have it for half price (it's tagged at $30). I originally turned it down because I've never wanted to be "one of those guys" who buys stuff just to flip it.

Amazing but you can make 3-4 times the value doing it this way. More if you overcharge for shipping.

That's just cruel. then the discs will be cast adrift without the box to keep them safe from harm.

A quick Ebay check shows the last 3-4 copies sold for between 30-60$. You could just search completed auctions on Ebay and check for yourself.

$20-ish. (i think it's worthless, but you should be able to get $20 for it.)
