Default First Single??

With all the people on here who have deep roots in the Pumpkins community, have contacts in the radio business, and/or troll web sites endlessly looking for Pumpkins' related references, I'm surprised there hasn't been any whispers of what the first single will be.

We all know what Filter Magazine's pick is. We all know that http://www.fmqb.com has had the song as "To Be Determined" for weeks. Unless the record label and the band haven't decided, someone has to know something.

You can wait two weeks.

Nine Inch Nails "Capital G" (Interscope)
Onesidezero "My Confessions" (Corporate Punishment)
The Smashing Pumpkins TBD (Reprise)

I glad you quoted it in case anyone missed it the first time around in another of monkeyfritters' lame attempts at boosting his post count. Only this time he forgot to post "lol" thirty seconds afterwards.

I have to admit I am excited to hear the new material and and to see some pictures and interviews. I am not planning on going to go to the Live Earth concert though. I live in CT. The stadium is just so huge and they are almost the last band to play. I guess that's bad to do if you are a "troo" fan but...I just dont like those settings. The best setting I've been to besides the solo show...was a small theater type place in NYC I forget the name of it but I have the ticket in my scrap book in storage somewhere....

There's just been a lull in activity lately. I was hoping someone had heard something.

How long did SPTV last? I remember it being around 45 minutes. Would have been cool to have some updates.

sounds like Thats The Way is a solid hit (from all those who have commented on it)....but I have a feeling BC will want to come back with something heavier for the first single. to make his point.

then Thats The Way....to cement the success of the album.

man, i'm so pumped at this point. all i can think about is may 22nd.

I think it's more of an ADD thing with Billy. Gets all worked up on a project, then someone utters one sentence, and he's off to the races on something completely different.....

I want my fucking Metro DVD.

i meant from a legal/rights point of view man.

and addressing your point that james is the missing link to SP-quality music, lets see how they pull off songs under the name "SP" now that they're using it again. now that the intent is the same.

the intent was not the same with those other projects you mentioned.

i secretly think the album will be good. but i hate you and everything you stand for. i like net.art and fart machines. i picked up zwan 2 after netphoria discarded it a few weeks ago. i find it strange how much money people will spend on their lawns.
