actually, we didn't have one 'till two days ago, quite seriously. i in one of my fits to organize, i put it all in a little jar with a cat in a witches hat on top in the kitchen - it was full of see's chocolate balls from halloween before.

I think it's probably got about $2 in it right now. Before this, the change would be in any of three places - on top of the dryer, on the coffee table, or on the kitchen counter. dan's the only one who ever has change though, i hardly ever carry cash. we also have a ton of change in the console between the seats in the car.

coffee is godly.

I didn't see his statement after your first post, so my question wasn't un-baby related on purpose.

depends if it's an asshat or not.

The Braves or whoever the Yankees' rival was or whoever my great-grampy supported. I grew up on the Braves; they're my mom's team. My dad tried to spare us the pain of being Red Sox fans. But the Braves grew less fun to follow because everyone got so complacent during their successful run and took the postseason as a given.

My grandfather is a Yankees fan, so my dad rooted for the Red Sox. So I assume he would have chosen whoever the Yankees had a rivalry with to be contrarian, or whoever Great Grampy rooted for.

Can you name a favorite line, character, and episode from Arrested Development? Do you think, if the show had moved to Showtime, that it would have improved with less restrictions placed on it?

Thats cool about your mom. I just don't understand Steely Dan and am baffled as to why people like them.

What other pop culture influences have your parents had on you?

Crap, I always forget you're design and not writing.

I liked the page on the high school awards. That is a nice design.

What is your favorite piece of design work that you have done, that you are most proud of? Is it viewable to any of us?

Actually, one of my favorite work is "Saturn Devouring His Children" by Francisco de Goya, but it's about one of the only works of his I like. So I don't consider him one of my favorite artists...

One of my favorite artist of all time is, of course, Salvador Dali. There are too many of his works to actually have one favorite and I'm kind of crappy about remembering the names of them.

Here's one, judging by the title of it, called Voltaire?:

I love shit by Edvard Munch, I have his "Madonna" poster on my wall:

(I don't understand why this image is proposed to be deleted, something about copyright? Someone please go help it stay up).

And of course, modern, local stuff like on HelenaGarcia.com :

Stuff from this girl Christy Roads (who I know from high school ) at www.croadcore.org:

Pocket deuces, in the big blind. I had a raiser in the cutoff and a call on the button of about 4x the BB and I was a middle stack, so I was getting the right odds to try and flop a set. Flop came 2 10 2 with two spades. I check. Cutoff bets, button calls, I call a potsize bet. Turn is another spade (maybe 6 or 7). I check again (normally I would not be this passive, but I knew that the cutoff was going to be aggressive). He bets around the size of the pot, the button RAISES triple that. I Hollywood it up, then make the call. So does the cutoff. At this point I'm incredibly happy with how this is all going down. The river is a meaningless card that couldn't have helped anyone. I bet about the size of the pot - I now have about 50% of my stack invested. Cutoff moves all in. Button calls. I immediately call with the nuts. Cutoff had the nut spade flush and must have thought the other two of us were full of shit. Button had pocket 10s and flopped the nut boat. This was a pivotal hand as there were only about 10 players left and I eliminated the button (barely had him covered) crippled the cutoff, and tripled my stack in the process.

I have had better hands, but there wasn't as much of a story to them. Having a straight flush is nice only if you get action
