Just wondered what result we'd get in the off topic board.

its not like the mediocrity they've released recently discounts the fact that they've made some of the best albums ive ever heard

fine, i'll be serious.

i still like pretty much like everything pre-infinte sadness. drown will always be my fav song though. everything after siamese dream i liked less and less. and less. and i don't care for anything off that newest thing at all.

Silversun Pickups can't touch the Pumpkins live. I don't know if their audio person is shitty or what but they seemed way too quite live.

I still like and have a pretty persistent emotional attachment to their material released before last year. I certainly do not like them as much as I did but if anybody asked me what my favorite band is, I would unhesitatingly say the Smashing Pumpkins. This, even though I do not listen to them that much anymore or lurk around record stores looking for some obscure deleted single of theirs I don't have like I did for years. As disappointing as their "reformation" material has been, I am still pretty much Billy Corgan's bitch.

Alright Mr. 55,842 Posts and Counting on a Message Board from a Site Dedicated to the Smashing Pumpkins. The so-called "fanboys & girls" on the SP boards are one thing, but all these members that still roam the boards here who no longer like, or in your case never liked SP are really the biggest tools around here.

its like they've been to vietnam. grenada. Aushwitz. panama. afghanistan. iraq. normandy beach. donated their genitals to science. walked to school in the snow barefoot 12 miles up hill both ways. been molested by every member of their family. roomed with/fucked rachael ray. likes emeril. enjoys martha stewart. likes to fuck horses. has every 7", 10", 12", test pressing, out-take, mis-press, acetate, master tape, demo track, cassette, 8-track, limited, bootleg, bullshit. and stuff.
