I was gonna wake up and go to this at like 6am but i was kinda hungover and said screw it. I honestly have no idea if i would have even got in had i got there at like 6:30-7...does anyone know how the line situation was to be one of the 250. Looked like a fun show though

Yeah I think they never sold out of bracelets, and they probably still have the $6.98 7" vinyls too. It would have been nice to sleep in.

Soot and Stars sounds fucking epic live. Studio recording was always just a little plodding and miserable, this really sounds great.

This live version is sweet, but I also really like the studio version. I never knew what to think of it at first until one night driving home on a long highway from Toronto, Soot and Stars began to play from the CD player, the sky was dark purple and it started to slowly snow large snow flakes. That was about 4 years ago and I remember it very well.

Just watched the soot + stars video. I want DFA to get that treatment. I couldn't stop laughing @ the sight of BC playing with a 95 yr old cowboy, a baby, and Iha + Darcys grown up son. BC has made everyone he babysits a band member. Hilarious.

they played WWMM didnt they? im having trouble finding video footage... i hope it wasnt so bad people are embarassed to upload. I don't mind the tune, really. The intricate arrangement makes up for the simple lyrics imho

hey i have an idea why don't we have a day where everyone goes to record stores at the same time all on the same day omg what a brilliant idea if there's one thing i hate about record stores it's that there's nobody there and as a result it's a relaxing environment and i have room to move around and browse the contents of the store god i hate that maybe we should have more than one day like that.
