Just checked out some of those links.... Mike fucking rocked Tristessa and BWBW!!!! Stitch in Time and SFAS sounded really good as well. Genuinely excited about the tour now... I got my greatest hits kick at Rock Am Ring '07 so can't wait for the new sets if they're gonna pull out songs like Stumbeline!!! Soot & Stars was so immense, hopefully that Monte dude got some good recordings!! TOP MARKS SP3!!! Hopefully the usual grumpy fucks round here can at least applaud Billy when he's doing something right!!

I'm honestly surprised with Mike Byrne's performance. Sure, it's not up to Jimmy quality but give him 10 or so years, he'll be just as good in his own right as he grows a bit older. IMO his speed with BWBW was a bit too fast, but he nearly nailed Tristessa which I was pleasantly surprised with. Mike's 20 years old just starting out his professional career. If he keeps it up, he'll have a bright future.

No shit. It'd be like that egomaniac to fire him and replace him with a drum playing monkey.

Rip the audio from the youtube videos, then reconsider your life.

Thank you very much, slightly retarded phone recording people. Get a clue. I think it's not very likely a decent audience audio recording of this show has been made. |

hmm, you would expect a decent rip from the video tracks (not youtube)
If I was you I would email Monte 3000 times asking for audio. |

I wonder if SP is the first band to do 2 pre-orders for an EP? I just don't get why they had 2.
I'm really pissed off inside that the LA ppl got their EPs first. Shouldn't the folks who jumped on the first pre-order get rewarded? Like a chance to buy one of the special 7"s at the retail price? I'm just trying to understand the reward system that BC seems to be dishing out. It's always either too little in the right places or too much in the wrong places. |

He is trying to boost album sales by giving the EP away.
