i know for certain that this is the case. because i did the same thing like twelve years ago. i just didn't make twenty-seven threads on netphoria about it. and its not so much he pretends he likes it, he reads up and finds what he is supposed to like, and doesn't listen objectively and confirmation bias kicks in and the rest is history.

prediction: his next thread will be about the durutti column. that's what one the few starter kit touchstones i don't think he's mentioned yet.
