san antonio has that special kind of hatred because they don't see how completely fortunate and ultimately lucky the spurs were when they wound up with duncan, ginobs and parker who are willing to take pay cuts to have better players around them. but, tim was paid 20 million plus a few seasons in his prime. I dunno about ginobs or parker but gino's not worth much more than what he's being paid now and i think tony is worth a max contract but it's not clear if anyone would give it to him, because he's french or whatever.

Ultimately when Kawhi starts asking about max contracts I imagine SA will get real hypocritical about this sort of thing
