Literally who bought that shit? I don't understand it all. And did they actually listen to it? Like what is the proper context to listen to Billy Corgan's 5 disc Sidddhartha vinyl set?? To impress your music geek friends who will think it's total joke? To relax after a long days work? To inspire deep spiritual and philosophy inquiry? WHAT!!!! To fuck to it? Are people fucking to this garbage?

I love you Billy.

the only people i can imagine actually buying these are obsessive collectors who want a copy of everything billy ever released. but they probably don't listen to it. i can't imagine why anyone would do that.

i hate you billy but I'll take a FLAC rip of this garbage.

Billy brought close to 4500hp for that show. madness.
but most of what he has is SOOO vanilla, maybe that's why his modular sucks.
even his Ichabod, sure it's rich in tone, but the stuff he does with it is SOOO boring.

I say this as someone at 840hp of eurorack and a regular MW boarder....

Background to a day working from home. If you think music geeks would be impressed by most of Bill's output in 2018 you're wrong and actually the reason I bought it was partly curiosity and partly completism.

I would listen to 3a and 3b again especially and would have liked to listened to discs 1 & 2 in the same sitting to get a similar 'word association' done for the.

The artwork is great as well.

It took nearly a year but I think it's very possible I'm one of the few who bothered.

I've said it before, but it's a good idea, but poorly executed.

He should have recorded the book reading himself and performed the music to his recording.

No. Absolutely not, couldn't say it was good. Interesting in parts but mostly wrapped in noise. Also the main problem is without narration it is just synth noise.

It has made me want to revisit Aegea though.

As a former drug user I can say that being on all the drugs was not enough to make me want to buy this.

I appreciate your continued dedication to this historical documentation. One day, our grandchildren will thank us for this.

Also: is 2018 the year when these finally get marked down to rock bottom prices? Or will the price hold all year long?

Surprised that none of these were being hauled around in the trailer for the Ogilala tour. No sign of that big ol' box.

Don't want us to lose sight of this release in the face of all of this Shiny and Oh-So-Bright news that's floating around out there now.

Plus, I'm sure that the announcement of the tour has caused a resurgence of interest in everything WPC related. I can see it now: 38 year old dude from Boston who used to own a copy of Siamese Dream sees that SP is touring again - reads about the fact that he owns a tea shop - checks out the website - the logical next step is to order a copy of a 5 LP set of instrumental electronic work, no?

16 Signed Remaining - 1 sold in the last month
235 Unsigned Remaining - 1 sold in the last month

SEE? That's what I'm talkin' about!

ZuZu teahouse version 1.0 is closing March 18th. Get free tea...and -maybe- cheap vinyls that day?

williampcorgan
So, a little announcement. Zuzu's Teahouse 1.0 will be closing it's doors March 18th, as we are forced to move for various reasons which involve tenancy, but certainly nothing to do with the strength of the business (which thanks to all our great customers has been robust and steady). So for now our focus moves to madamezuzus.com and the online store, and when I'm home next around my birthday (March 17th) I will be looking at even more spaces. Unfortunately, Highland Park doesn't have a lot of ideal spots at this time, which is part of the holdup. So again, thanks again to all our patrons. You have my gratitude for your support. And come party with us on the 18th as we say goodbye. There will be free tea that day for everyone who comes by, and special last-day sales. (And as far as @madamezuzus 2.0 goes, we hope to open a new location very soon, remaining in Highland Park if possible)

tbh i'd eat the fuck out of that but it's not a good look for a website, especially if the place has 'pizza' in the name

I can't get over the storage of this thing still. The fact that there are 235 of those monsters sitting around somewhere slays me.
