Speaking of foreign women, the other night, I went to that gothic rock dance night thing, and I met this QT Russian goth girl who's been here for a couple of years.

We spent most of the night dancing with each other and sticking together. A lot of acquaintances where there, so I introduced her to everyone.

At one point, this guy comes around selling roses, and I buy one. They're all like, "that's so cute," but I'm like, "huh? Oh no, I bought this for myself; I like flowers." We share a laugh, and she makes some comment about how most men see flowers as "nuisances on a stick."

While we're dancing, she asks me if I'm getting warm in my jacket. I say kinda, and I take it off. Then she makes a comment about my sweater. I accuse her of trying to get my to take off my clothes, and say that I'll take off my sweater, but that's all. "Don't I deserve more?" she asks. I tell her that if she plays her cards right, she may just earn it.

While we're exchanging numbers, I notice that her phone wallpaper is Audrey Hepburn with a ball gag in her mouth. I inquire if she's into that stuff, and she says that she likes tying people up. So, she's a QT Russian goth girl rope bondage domme. At this point, I'm convinced none of this is happening.

She goes home, but I stick around go hang out with my pals. She agreed that she wanted to meet up again some time, though. I kind of forget about texting her, because in my experience, people tend to be kinda fickle, and even if they seem really enthusiastic about seeing you again, they'll change their mind between when you part and when the next date is supposed to be.

I eventually decide "may as well give it a shot," and text her to go out for drinks.

She calls back, saying she doesn't drink, and asks me to just come over for casual sex.

"How about coffee first?"

"I don't drink coffee."

That's kinda weird to me. I've never done the whole "hookup scene" before. I go out on dates. If they lead to anything, cool, but if not, also cool. Just doing physical stuff is totally alien to a shy debutante like me who, half the time, can't even muster up the courage to hold a date's hand.

I'm just kinda like, "uh… sure, okay," and we set a time.

She ends up being sick on that day, but doesn't offer to reschedule, so I'm guessing she's lost interest. The entire scenario was likely a glitch in the matrix that the universe noticed and corrected. "What's this? People aren't supposed to be attracted to Disco King. Better fix that."

Haha, my Polish friend who also met her was talking about how weird the Russians are.

A couple of my friends that I introduced her to spoke Russian. One of the two, I had no idea spoke Russian. For part of the night, the girl and one of my Russian friends were carrying on a conversation and then kept on looking at me. I have no idea what they were talking about.
