This stuff all rings really true but like the other articles has it’s puzzling moments. Like how there’s a recording of Billy and James covering Bowie’s Kooks in 1993 and that year they also mentioned attempting to cover Moonage Daydream for a compilation that never came out or got finished. Again... nobody’s perfect.

Yeah exactly... It baffles me that with such a big production that they wouldn't have a set offer figured out to entice her with. Billy was trying to manipulate her into thinking that it was her choice, when really he had the ultimatum worked out in his mind already... So I don't understand why Smashing Pumpkins INC wouldn't at least have the offer on the table to entice her with...

I mean he gives her the run around, he leads her on, and then when he reneges on the offer he doesn't even have the decency to have worked out an offer? Good god, after all they've been through and everything. She's not just some hired hand for crying out loud.

Nobody knows what really happened back then. Billy is obviously a nightmare. But darcy seems to have probs. If i was billy i would not invite her too. Shes a mess. Weird interview. Likely that she has alcohol or drug problems. Her swollen face comes from alcohol. Thats typical.
