Though this tour is being pushed like a greatest hits oldie tour from Live Nation, to gain interest of more casual fans, this might only be Corgan's interest for selling more tickets.

I'm sure he also wants to promote the new recordings at this opportunity.

He would go and make a claim over and over again like that wouldn't he? Celebrity Skin has his extremely formulaic, faux-lush song structure. Lots of discussion on stars, souls, etc. Hole's most memorable tracks precede his involvement I think.

What's expected from the EPs? I think it would be great to get either two rock tracks and two softer tracks on each EP.

Or one EP being rockier stuff and the second being softer. And when I say "softer", I mean like Whir or Obscured, not like Pale Horse or Pinwheels.
