Default Maybe if the tour crashes and burns we can all move on

I feel like I've seen enough from Billy. I'll listen to the new album but also expect nothing. TSP is not The Rolling Stones. Corgan isn't going to scream the lyrics to BWBW when he's 75, he can barely do it now. Pack it up.

What was the last Rolling Stones album you listened to anyway?

I'd say it's time for Billy to move on to a quieter acoustic style, but...

I mean, compare Ogilala's overpowering strumming to the Machina demos or Djali Zwan stuff.

The dude can't show emotion anymore.

I'd be happy if Billy went full Howard Beale and just posted endless rant videos on youtube, with maybe some background drumming from Jimmy.

Obviously the glory days are over. Billy's finally content to slide into the nostalgia role. I think they'll regain some touring relevancy filling that niche for a good 5-10 years. After that he'll probably semi-retire and release a solo album here and there.

Nobody will go anywhere

It's not about hoping the band will get better or relevant again

It's about hoping Billy fails

The Pumpkins as supporting band for the Stones again would be the best way to regain a bigger audience in Europe.

Seriously.
