Third Eye Blind is guilty of cultural appropriation because they did not give due recognition to the Hindu yogis whose spiritual practices involved the mystical development of their third eyes.

I do regret the original post because it wasn't necessary should have edit nvm'd it and everyone took it super serious when it was meant in the same tone as the earlier "pls"

The bass is actually Tom Hanks attempting to clear the viscous sheet of full cream milk that's permanently spread across the opening of his windpipe.

lol guy, me quoting you does not support your point.

whatever i guess, if you don't see how high and mighty you come off in those posts, there's not much i can do for you. this surely won't be the turning point in what now becomes years of pretty much this exact same conversation.

say what you will about this band, that rhythm section + guitar thing that make up the bridge of "Jumper" is one of the best things ever

A newish 3EB song I've always really liked

Unfortunately the rest of the album was forgettable to me, but this song was in high rotation for awhile.

It was meant as a tribute to your Clash thread.

The only songs on that album I can still spin are Bonfire and Sharp Knife, and even those are iffy. Dopamine was much better, though what I've heard of the new EP coming out is dogshit. Ah well.

I know we've had this conversation before, but based on other stuff you like, I think the first two 3EB albums would be right up your alley (don't know if you ever got around to checking them out). And yes, I am being sincere.

I actually never have. I love the 90's alt rock stuff to death and really enjoy a lot of the fringe artists too but for some reason never felt the need to check out 3EB. I guess they came a little late to the scene. Wasn't their debut like 97 or 98?

I'll download the albums one of these days.

It's funny, Ursa Major is the only album of there's that I've listened to all the way through. I just downloaded it on a whim one day after reading a positive review.

But Ursa Major is so, so shitty. Trust me, just download the debut (yes, 1997) and listen to it from front to back. You won't regret it.
