you know how some totally brilliant artists die off when they're young, and you're left wondering what could have been?

well it sure is NOT like that with homeboy Trent.

I'd be more excited if he'd quit dicking around with EPs and just release a fucking album.

This thing where we're all pretending the album format is dead and bands can get by on trickling out little bits of music here and there is absolutely bunk.

what percentage of the population do you think routinely listens to full albums? I would guess its somewhere between 1-3%.

I'd put the percentage of NIN fans who listen to full albums much, much higher.

Fucking can't wait for it. I found NTAE and AV really enjoyable.

I hope shit mirror's a full song and not a brief intro.

I hope it’s more in the vein of NTAE (shit like She’s Gone Away and Burning Bright gets my dick hard) but I expect it to be up to that level.

That ten-second clip points towards something aggressive and harsh. Kind of have a feeling they'll try to pull out all the stops on this one.

you know, I kind of stopped caring for NIN since they released With Teeth but I rejoined the bandwagon since Not The Actual Facts and I'm not sure those two last EP's are actually better than the stuff he put out before.

what I'm saying, and you listen now and listen good, yes you are in fact completely right but I like them again but what I'm trying to say here is, I'm not sure if those ep's are actually better than anything since with teeth but what I am really getting at, is

I'm going to have to agree to agree here. I love The Fragile but stopped following after With Teeth. The 2 recent Extended Plays brought me back in. Then I discovered Still (Halo 17b) and was pissed I missed it the first time around. THEN I started to get into the soundtracks/scores Trent and Atticus have done and went back to listen to the Ghosts material for the first time. What I'm trying to say here is that after NIN being one of my favorite bands from 93-2000 I became an untroo fan.

The Vietnam War Original Score is well worth checking out as is The Fragile: Deviations 1. Also: http://www.nin.wiki/Soundtracks

New track sounds like Earthling era Bowie meets acid house, pretty good.

NIN consistently brings the goods. G-G-G-Grammys.

I thought Trent was jumping the shark with the "I hate me" schtick with With Teeth, but the dude totally rebounded with everything since.
