I kinda don't mind "Bleeding the Orchid."

But, yeah:

"Widow Wake My Mind"
"Spangled"
"Solara"

I would add those singles from the new one because I heard them at the gym and they were terrible, but I can't actually even remember how they go, so my wish for those ones has already been granted.

I generally don’t remember music I don’t like unless it’s an earworm. I just have a general sense of “blah” for all SP stuff after 2000.

I remember hearing Because You Are for the first time on Judas O. It was the first time I thought Billy had ran out of good ideas and breaking up the band was a good idea.

Over the years I've gotten the distinct impression I'm like the one non-Pumpkin who likes Starz

Very far from one of their best, but it's the only on-album Zeitgeist track I'd have any interest in ever hearing again

What if I told you all Billy wrote the Crazy Frog song? I wonder if every hypocrite here's answer would change.

Surprised Run2Me hasn't received a mention yet. Probably the most embarrassing misfire for what was supposed to be a single.

I also won't stand by the Bleeding the Orchid hate, aside from Stellar it's my fav song off ZG

Starz is a good song, I agree. The breakdown is probably the best part of the entire album.

I also really like Death from Above so you may not want to get too close.

I probably listened to that way more than Stellar, and I really like Stellar

That "I see the new moon" bit may be my favorite lil' bit of that whole era

Starz isn't bad, isn't great either. I think it is my favorite Zeitgeist track.

yeah Stellar is great too. the galloping drums on death from above are just amazing to me, loved it the first time I heard it. amazing how most of the best songs on the album are the bsides stuffed in it on different versions. the only good songs I think are the bsides, bleeding the orchid, starz, neverlost and pomp and circumstances. which I guess is almost half the album so it's not that terrible

Pomp live is absolutely incredible.

Corgan's amazing solos, JC's tricky upbeat hihat clicking part, the lyrics are really quite good -->

yeah lyrics are great on pomp, best on the album for sure

it's funny, I think a lot of people think it's some sort of joke song or we only come out at night type song

but it's really profound in its own way, and very coherent for a corgan song

I think Run2me has or had potential but the goofy title and the cringe worthy “my love is strange” lyric makes me deeply uncomfortable, uneasy, nauseous and embarrassed.

What does it mean? It’s not kosher, I’ll tell you that.

I don’t care who you are, if someone pointed at another person and whispered to me, “see that guy? His love is strange “, I would never look at that person the same way ever again.

“You know uncle Stu? Well, let’s just say his love is...strange “

“Hi! My names Murray, I’m a Virgo, I sell used cars, and my love is strange “

When ever I see billy now I think to myself, “why is his love so strange. What does he mean by this.” I can’t look at him the same way now. I wouldn’t let children alone in the company of a man who tells everyone that his love is strange. Why’s he sing about it? Who does that? There’s so many things that he could sing about yet he’s gotta sing about how strange his love is? It doesn’t make sense. Imagine the acoustic demo. You’re sitting in the other room and you hear through the walls a grown man on an acoustic guitar singing,”my love is strange “....it’s an uneasy feeling, to say the least

I remember seeing him in Dublin on the 2005 TFE tour; between songs he mentioned his album was coming out the same week as Crazy Frog's and Coldplay's, and that those albums would probably be number 1 and 2 on the chart, and his would be number 3.

Didn't quite work out that way.
