If he pulled the trigger accidentally as he was drawing it that's a bit different than if he pointed it at someone and shot. Is that what really happened? idk. Did he know there was live ammunition on the set at all?

I would just note that the guy who shot Brandon Lee on the Crow set was not charged with anything — every case is going to be a little different I'm sure, and it probably matters a lot that Baldwin was also a producer, just saying it's not a foregone conclusion

These screenshots look like they're from Reddit, from a union actor, explaining who is responsible for what on a set when it comes to gun safety. It sounds like basically no one did the right thing, victims included, but they put most of the blame on the armorer and the AD

yes, they were blocking/rehearsing the scene, where Baldwin was aiming/looking at the camera....

he was handed a "cold gun" and had no reason to believe otherwise

The armorer and her expensive lawyers have been putting out the claim that some saboteur put a live round in the box of blank cartridges

Included in this claim is the idea that, like, why would crew members walk off a set in a protest over safety unless they were trying to cause an accident. One lawyer said on Good Morning America, "Why would you do that [walk off in protest] other than to try to cause some incident on the set? Now, we’re not saying anybody had any intent there was going to be a tragedy — a homicide — but they wanted to do something to cause a safety incident on set. That’s what we believe happened.”

Baldwin, who seems to think his portrayal of Trump on SNL had a big impact on the election, wants to hire cops to monitor set safety

So, according to Baldwin and a witness, he didn't actually pull (or even touch) the trigger, just cocked it and let go of the hammer and it went off

he also supposedly had no idea there was live ammo anywhere on set and they think the people they got the blanks from might have inadvertently given them a live bullet.

if this is all true, he shouldn't and won't be charged, right? or is it normal for old guns to go off like that and he should have known?

I only watched part of his interview and I can't imagine not feeling guilt even if it wasn't my fault, so I find that very offputting, but what do I know. Probably got told saying he feels guilty would look bad in any kind of trial.
