parades are tons of fun. i went to one at disneyland once and something else. i dunno. the st patricks parade going on today is geared towards older people. what it seems like to me. a ton of drunk people screaming woooo and walking around all damn day and then going to the bars down the street at night. the parade is right outside my work so i know it was busy. glad i got the weekend off, y0

But one time I was part of it, all dressed up as a robot in a costume which I had made myself - and my grandparents, watching the parade and waving, didn't recognize me.
Back then I thought that was pretty rad.

parades are lame, I used to do baton (how do you even spell that) when I Was little and we marched in a bunch of stupid parades. I was really bad though and could never remember the order of the routine so I would do everything late by watching the person next to me.

and i love pride parades here.

and i saw the saint pattys day one when i was waiting to meet sp.

and we do our own weird kid parades in the summer but no floats just costumes and ninjas and dudes on stilts and samba squad and people carrying instruments.
