Default FUZZY'S CLASSIC-ROCK JUBILEE!

Hello stoners and flower-children! and welcome to this installment of Fuzzy's Classic-Rock Jubilee! In this series we'll showcase and document Fuzzy's favorite music from his very own personal collection!

In this wide-expanding series you can expect to hear the best classic-rock from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. So dust off the old bell-bottoms and light some incense and prepare to get groovy!

The first installment of the highly anticipated series comes from a singer-songwriter out of Gainsville Florida. We kick off Fuzzy's Classic-Rock Jubilee with the title track from Tom Petty's 1991 release. Into The Great Wide Open is Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers 8th studio release which went onto sell a whopping 2 million albums.

This is one of my favorite tracks off the album as well as in Tom Petty's catalogue. It's a feel good jam that is guaranteed to put a smile on even the most jaded soul.

So without further ado, here it is!:

And yes, that is Johnny Depp staring in the video!

I like petty.

But Motorhead and Sabbath and Hendrix reign supreme.

Tom Petty's great. He took what Bob Dylan was doing but made it pop-accessible.

Sabbath/Motörhead for me too. Was my 1st introduction to riff-based songs and evil guitar tones. Got into "Overkill" when I was like 13, we used to listen at work after school. "Stay Clean," was a favorite.

Usually the chorus effect sounds swishy and gross when I try to put it on heavily distorted guitar but somehow it sounds awesome on songs like "Overkill"

Like OMFG!!! Overkill is my fav too. The whole album is solid, ever riff.

Yeah Stay Clean is sheer senescitude, that lemmy bass solo... ah yes yes indeed! And I'll be your sister rocks so fucking hard.

I think capricorn might best the best track tho. So much raw emotionaity seeps thru the roar of mister kilmister!

This sounds really sad. Like a confused old man post.

"Their both named after themselves", he said, as applesauce dribbled down his chin.

What did you Sabbatharians (the Iommic hordes) think of 13? I thought it was a stunning return to form, not to fall into cliche or anything.

Even though his albums are kind of un-even, his great songs are fantastic. Really uplifting, feel good type of music.

I mean how could someone think that this sucks:

You might not like it, but it doesn't suck

Best fucking video ever
