Bardo Pond. Not overly ferocious, but definetly the best drone-psych band i've heard.

yeah bardo pond is ok. i'm looking for a little more out there or loud stuff. but what are your favorite albums of theirs?

there is actually a Bardo Pond megathread in the pipeline, too busy right now though. Sit tight, my friend.

check out High Rise and Subarachnoid Sound too, especially the latter

borderline experimental. I dont think Frusciante is at all psych.

check out some of the bands otherwise listed in this thread, then you'll see what we're talking about

ok...i will do that...but listen to shadows collide with people or to record only water for ten days or sphere in the heart of silence from JF...maybe after i hear the other bands in the thread i won't consider these albums to be psychodelic anymore, but maybe if you heard them you might change your mind, if only a little.

i work in a record store with a guy who basically listens to nothing but RHCP/Frusciante. I've heard these albums countless times

he's good with RHCP but i think better alone.
my apologies. now i have some downloadin and learnin to do. i refuse to use limewire or anything, so know any places i can find the bands in the thread at?
