how fucking long do we need to be made aware of things that are to be announced? especially when all we're being made aware of is how much they are being delayed. that fucking sucks, man - "just a little longer, sorry"

don't understand the reluctancy to release the studio version of slunk. and pointless inclusion of 'why am i so tired' but i guess earphoria won't be rereleased. but i'm getting this, fuck it, PI is great and i never bought it on cd.

btw, any info on crawl?

I LOVE the cassette artwork. It's such a neat photo. I'm sure they will ******* it somewhere in the liner notes. Those black and white photos look awesome. Really glad to see they didn't fuck up the cover as well.

yeah. although it kinda fucks with the original release, which generally is a bad idea, in this case those songs should maybe have replaced Landslide and Girl Named Sandoz because they are, like covers and all.

my problem is not with the covers being on the pisces collection but the fact that they put alternate versions of those covers on Gish & SD re-issues - billy must think highly of his wack-ass covers. and it looks like the trend will continue with PI. throw some unheard demo on that shizz instead of re-hashing your dumb covers, ya dig?

That's what I remember reading numerous times. We all know there is tons of rare stuff he could be putting on this reissues and that's rare as in non-commercially released. Plus I would believe that there are more tracks like Blissed in the vaults.

i'm hoping all the "unrelated" material is going to be used for archive releases - with the official reissues i'm sure you would have to keep your selections pretty close to the belt

i guess it wasn't clear, but i never understood why they insist on putting the live version on compilations instead of using the ep studio take. i think even on mashed potatoes it's some live take instead of chump or whatever that was. what gives?

i also have a feeling it's the live take from earphoria.

yeah, totally bizarre that they put alt takes on Gish/SD reissues. i kinda knew that PI would be "as is", just vaguely hoping. to me the presence of the covers was always an eyesore - like the godawful Tp Love Somebody on TFE. of course, i totally get why people might like them and want them on the reissue.

Bundle packages are up for preorder on the official site... looks like the bonus you'll get is a digital download of the cassette songs (which I'd really dig having) - also, you can get a shirt, as seen below.

Cool looking shirt - but am I reading something wrong? The bundle with shirt is $89. Deluxe bundle without shirt is $49. So that shirt is $40?!
