Angry Who else has to work on Black Friday?

I am really not looking forward to it at all. I just hope we run out of stock on most stuff early so I can simply tell people to fuck off. Maybe it won't be too bad. I mean everyone in my store will be working tomorrow and hopefully I can just help people on the floor and not be on register.

What a fucking nightmare.

Black Friday, which falls on the day after Thanksgiving, is the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. It is so named because it begins the period in which retailers are said to get "back in the black." It's considered the busiest shopping day of the year.

Black as in black ink. As in profitability. As opposed to red ink.

I have to work too. Putting in a shift in the companies datacenter. Understaffed for the holiday, just need some people to be there in case of any 'severity 1' tech issues. That translates into I'll be surfing the net all day and getting paid time and a half.

Well it was hell but it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. I didn't get to leave till 11 and we set off the alarm when we were going out so the security people came and my manager couldn't remember our password. So that part was funny.
