okay, no one will probably know what i'm talking about but here goes:

in late 1997 i wrote into the address in the siamese dream booklet, asking for any stickers or whatever they could send me.
they sent back, probably 3-4 months later, a postcard announcing the release of "Adore".
This sounds like nothing special, but it was a brown postcard with a purple jar with a green heart in it or something like that. or else the ********** was green and the jar/heart was purple.
either way, i'll always remember me thinking the new album was going to have that color scheme.

this also reminds me of when my brother told me the new album was going to be called Adore, but he pronounced it "A door", so i thought that was going to be the title for about a week.

Heh..the only notes I'm keeping after I'm through with high school is probably my english notes on how to do a report..and how to site a book or something..that and my chemistry notes.. =/

I think they mean "a-door" with the long A sound, like "ay-door", but it's really pronounced "uh-door".

I had GI-Joes, transformers, star wars, He-man figures.
I think the original he-man and skeletor figures were my first toys.

the adventures those 2 had.. *nostalgia*

i'm sure my star wars stuff would be worth something now.
All i have left is my millenium falcon.

I used to skateboard when I was about 13.
I had a really nice tony hawk deck.

the art was like a surrealist painting with planets, but somehow looked like a clown.. it was cool.
I lent that deck to someone, and it was never seen again.
I hate learning lessons the hard way.

I'd hang that deck up on my wall if i still had it.
