My electric razor (again, it's pretty shitty) never gets the hair under my chin (upper neck). I have to use a blade for that, especially when it's been growing for a few days. Do high-end electrics have that problem?

My first electric razor, the Norelco Quadra kicked some major ass everywhere. You would have to run it under your neck more than a few times, but it would take care of it all (for the most part). What type of razor do you currently use?

I usually shave every few days, it means that when I do it cuts super close - I usually shave the night before so I don't bleed everywhere in the morning. I shave my top lip every am though - only takes a minute. But if you're REALLY hardcore, you go for the real razor blade and shammy combo

I alternate between an electric and a mach3. I find if I use either twice in a row I usually get some sort of razor burn (not too bad though). But when I alternate, everything is fine. Plus I get the best of both worlds. If I want a really close shave I use the manual, but for a quick buzz I use the electric.
If I haven't shaved for over 2 days, the manual razor is way easier and way quicker.

well, correct me if i'm wrong, but regular razors are in direct contact with your skin, whereas for electrical razors there's always a layer of mesh between the blades and your skin.
