So some reporter said some nasty things about smokers in my paper today

And i need to find a way to send her/him the message that this kind of journalism won't stand. Editorials tearing into fellow students is really a terible thing to do, in my book. The problem is, I think the person who wrote it is this girl I'm seeing's best friend. So I might be limited to options.

Well what are your guys ideas to let this person know that writing things liek this won't stand?
