Yeah, they are expensive, especially if you're buying CDs... but what other CD chains aren't? They have reasonable prices when the CDs first come out and you can sometimes find a deal or two on things other than music.

Plus, if you join their replay program, you get coupons for $5 for every $100 spent ($33 during triple replay days)

I work there and I feel guilty selling replay memberships to the sheep. Some people will buy anything if you pitch it to them.. I hate selling replays and now that best buy owns sam goody and suncoast, (soon circuit city and the good guys) the pressure to make your quota is higher than ever. I don't believe that getting a 5% rebate coupon every time you spend $100 is worth the $8.00 it takes to activate your account. The reward hardly seems worth it. The cds are waaaay overpriced and the DVD prices are laughable as well. Thankfully I only work there once every other week so I can keep my discount... any more would drive me nutty. I advise getting used media. It is more or less the same quality, a lot cheaper.
