I hate my job

I really do. I got in trouble today, and so did a few other people over really stupid stuff. blah. The owner is so mean sometimes and gets mad over absolutely nothing. And once you've pissed him off, you're in trouble... there's a permanant stain on your character. I want a new one, but I don't think I'd be able to find one that would work with my hours. My roommate is working at a relay place, and she said they're hiring... and there are a few people I went to high school with that work with... but I'd be incurring a $2 pay cut. Blah.

God must hate me. I just pissed off a huge paying customer... actually they were pissed off to begin with. Blah. And they're calling the owner. Why? Why did I have to get that phone call? And why isn't anyone answering the phones in here? We're a call center for fucks sake.

We've got wireless internet... kind of like satilite...and in a few areas, it's been down completely. For several days. And I don't know, they've got wireless and are just mad because they're connections down and has been for days, etc etc

I think if it's actually a bunch of people who got into trouble, not just you alone, he's gonna calm down. what about the troubles with the other guy who was plotting something against you at work (Zach wasn't there at that time), has it solved out somehow?

Well, yes and no. It's gotten better, but it's still going on, just to a lesser degree. I had a long talk with the guy who was talking to the owner about our policies and procedures, and all of that, and he agreed that he's got to follow the chain of command, instead of just skipping to the owner. But he's still not fully trustable, and unfortunately, our owner plays favorites, and he is one of his favorite employees. Even though he's really not a nice person.

So yeah. It's still going on, just not as bad as before.

I hate my job though. I'm going to start looking for another one.

I'm surprized anyone remembered any of my whining about work!<3

I wish I could. He's 29 - I think today's his birthday. He doesn't really like having someone nearly 10yrs younger than him, and a female being above him. He's kind of creepy, but ... he's the kind of person that is super nice to your face and makes you think they really like you, then rip you to shreads behind your back. I hate people like that.

And no.. I can't really afford the paycut... I'm in debt, and am slowing working on paying it off.

I'm making exactly $10 for doing tech support - but I'm the tech support manager. And the guys who I supervise are making around $7-$8.50
