Anyone else cringe when they check their bank balance?

I ended overdrawing recently because I don't use checks and don't balance my account. I check my bank balance online every couple of days. Ever since I overdrew, I get this total feeling of dread when I load up the WellsFargo page. Maybe I need to find a job.

why don't you balance your fucking check book? to me it's one of the most satisfying experiences ever. i keep forgetting that there's online banking so normally when i wanna see how much money i have in my account i take out 10 bucks from the atm and look at the receipt. yeah. gay.

Get used to it, even if your resume is great, you won't hear back from well over 50% of them. I've just NOW started getting calls to set up interviews for the graphic design field. It just takes time. Calling the companies you send the resumes to will only irritate them, especially if they have placed ads specifically asking NOT to be called or have not listed their phone number. Your best bet is to just send out more; the earlier, the better.

and to answer the original topic, I feel dread from looking at my account all the time. The 20th is coming up, so my car payment is due... at least I'll get a paycheck the 22nd to cover it.

I don't use checks unless I'm paying rent or buying pizza. The checkcard is just too damn convenient. I don't know why I can't get a damn job with my resume, either. I actually started collecting unemployment benefits while I looked for a job. The closest I've got to finding one is an interview at SuperAmerica, and I don't think it went well.

13?? I have sent out hundreds and hundreds of resumes over the past year. Job hunting is horrid. It it always best to send them out assuming that you won't ever hear back from them.

I know 13 isn't a lot. I start night school in February and i was hoping to get a job during the Christmas season to keep me busy until then.

I had a job during the summer but it was only seasonal as it was an outdoor venue. I really enjoyed that job.

Heh. I had NO idea you were in graphic design. That's really cool. The job hunt isn't. But I guess you know that already.
