Lightbulb Question about United States....

What do you personally feel is the greatest challenge or obstacle which the United States of America faces right now? Also if you would like say a little something about how or why you feel that way.

I personally feel the biggest challenge facing the United States at the moment is the lack of respect in government for the common citizen. Many politicians no longer can or even attempt to identify with the common citizen, they have no need to as they are now above the common man. As long as certain humans have the power there will always be a lack of respect and corruption in the system. Ummm your turn...

very few governments have any association with people that make less than a certain amount-the invisible poor.

In the US? foreign relations and UN relations (same dif).

sustaining a real economy. with a population over 330 million plus all the illegals, we're going to HAVE to deal with companies ignoring anti-trust, our government trying to dismantle monopoly laws, and it's going to matter (more than it does right now) that almost nothing one buy's in the united states is ACTUALLY made in the united states. we're more like the united states of china. cannot sustain a population when you outsource manufacturing and cubicle business services.

fixed

Uh...I think we've still never even come close to living up to the goals that the country's founders set forth in the late 18th century. Especially lately...

And the predominance of reality TV shows.

no, not deep, just haven't completely given up.

good thing about reality tv is that i don't watch as much tv. my life is boring, so why do i want to watch another person's boring, self-created drama?
